Background
Lucie received an MSc in Multidisciplinary Engineering from Mines Douai, France in 2015. Following this, Lucie gained industry experience by working as a packaging engineer for three years before going onto to volunteer at a non-profit organisation in the United States.
Lucie then began an MSc in Water and Wastewater Engineering at ¹û½´ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø, sponsored by Anglian Water (2019-2021). Her 16-month MSc research, conducted in collaboration with PWN, focused on the prediction of organic matter and inorganic ions removal by ion exchange at reduced regeneration frequency.
Lucie has returned to ¹û½´ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø to pursue a PhD in Water Chemistry.
Current activities
Lucie is currently a PhD research student within the School of Water, Energy and Environment at ¹û½´ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø. Her research focuses on the role of ozone and granular activated carbon for the removal of micropollutants.
